Hi, I’m Laci Le
Newfound Sense was born in 2023,
and yes, it failed. Twice.
I have had what I considered a worthy, meaningful, not to mention stable career, one that can afford me to explore creative projects that I would have otherwise been unable to if I was someone who didn’t have the time or finances to do so. I’ve always wanted to start a food blog. But after months of obsessing over the wrong things and letting perfectionism cripple and cast doubts on every decision I make, along with poor productivity habits, the blog didn’t get far and I abandoned the project altogether. At the end of 2020, I tried to start another blog. This time around it was from the lack of inconsistency and eye-rolling excuses that prevented me from getting this blog far.
I realized that what I lacked wasn’t motivation or willpower or enthusiasm to sustain a project. I lacked a system in place to consistently sit down to get the work done - whether it was to do research, write the blog posts.
Newfound Sense brings my mission to life by striving to show every person how to make their own certainty. It’s about recognizing that life’s defining moments as they happen, the very ones that will shape us. Every day we make countless decisions that lead us down one path or another and it is how we balance the desire to follow our current passions with a need to stay focused on our greater goals that makes it easier for us to become our desired self.
Through habits, we reinforce the identity of our choosing. I show you how you can now engineer your daily routines to reflect your desired identity.
